ATLAS
TO THE UNIVERSE
(A Traveler's Notation) |
| |
I have searched from Hadar to
Apus
Beyond the crystalline star clouds
To Al Baldah and even Sher Ad’an
Yet still, I am eluded
And who would think
Such a simple assignment
To count stars
But even the microwave sky-map
Is vague on the length of depth
Yes, and who is to say
At times I have lost my purpose
Till galaxies and nebulae
Brought me around
Across the Whirlpool
Through the Catseye
They swirl on
Large and unafraid
Each center expanding
Until no center exists
